Mr. Seale has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate
finance advisory. He has
advised clients and completed transactions around the world, including
in Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and
the United States.
Mr. Seale is an adjunct professor at George Washington University School
of Business teaching an M.B.A. course titled Global Investment Banking.
In addition, Mr. Seale has served as a guest speaker before various
corporations and professional organizations, including Financial
Executives International.
Prior to founding Seale & Associates, Mr. Seale was the Senior Managing Director
of a boutique advisory firm in Washington, D.C. and led the corporate development
and acquisition efforts of a large U.S. telecommunications firm. Earlier in his
career, Mr. Seale was an auditor and accountant at Arthur Andersen and was a
practicing attorney.
Mr. Seale received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and a J.D.
from the University of Virginia Law School. He is both a CPA and member of the Virginia Bar.
Mr. Carmel has significant domestic and international expertise in mergers and
acquisitions, financial due diligence, valuation, and corporate finance advisory.
Prior to joining Seale, Mr. Carmel worked with Mr. Seale at a boutique advisory firm in Washington, D.C. on a wide variety of international merger and divestiture
assignments. He was a financial analyst for the U.S. Surface
Transportation Board and a consultant for corporations working with international
development banks.
Mr. Carmel received a B.A. in Political Science with high honors from the
University of Florida and an M.B.A. in International Business and an M.A. in
International Affairs/Economics from George Washington University.
Mr. Rohen has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence,
valuation, tax analysis, and corporate finance advisory.
Prior to joining Seale & Associates, Mr. Rohen was a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
specializing in corporate reorganizations and developing tax minimization strategies.
Mr. Rohen received a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Taxation from George Washington University.
Mr. Krishnan brings extensive domestic and international experience in corporate finance and capital markets. Prior to joining Seale & Associates, Mr. Krishnan was based in Bahrain as chief executive officer of Addax Investment Bank, which was engaged in private equity and wealth management activities in the Gulf region. Previously, Mr. Krishnan spent more than two decades with KeyCorp in Cleveland, Ohio where he was responsible for a wide range of corporate finance and investment banking activities. At KeyCorp, he was a member of the investment banking management team and served as managing director at McDonald Investments and president of Key Capital Markets. Throughout his career, Mr. Krishnan has maintained extensive business relationships in India and the Middle East.
Mr. Krishnan serves as an Advisor to the Board of SalesQB, Inc, a technology start up company based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. Krishnan received his undergraduate degree in Engineering and holds graduate degrees in Business Administration and Economics from Delhi University, India and Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, respectively.
Mr. Bueno has substantial transaction and commercial experience in North America and Europe,
including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.
Prior to joining Seale & Associates, Mr. Bueno spent more than 30 years with Grupo Industrial Saltillio
(GIS), a leading Mexican diversified industrial group with holdings in metal foundries, building
products, and housewares. Mr. Bueno held various positions with GIS during his tenure including
Director of Corporate Development; New Business Director - Cifunsa (iron foundry); Commercial
Director - Vitromex (wall & floor tiles); Business Director - Molinos del Fenix; and other
development, strategic planning, and financial analysis positions.
Mr. Bueno received an Industrial Engineering degree and an M.B.A. from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Monterrey, Mexico.
Mr. Cohen has substantial experience with mergers and acquisitions,
divestitures and joint ventures as well as significant commercial experience
in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
Prior to joining Seale, Mr. Cohen was Vice President, Corporate Development for
Honeywell (and Allied Signal prior to its merger with Honeywell). In this role,
he was responsible for overseeing the merger and acquisition activities of a
$24 billion diversified technology and manufacturing company. Earlier in his
career, Mr. Cohen held a number of positions, including: General Counsel
Fibers and Plastics; Vice President and General Counsel Union Texas Petroleum;
Vice President and Assistant General Counsel Acquisitions and Dispositions
and Finance; and Vice President and General Counsel Automotive Sector.
Prior to joining AlliedSignal/Honeywell, Mr. Cohen worked for the Securities
and Exchange Commission, served in the United States Army from 1969 - 1971,
and was an associate with the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Mr. Cohen received a J.D. and B.A. from Rutgers University.
Mr. Purcell is the leader of Seale & Associates' Expert Testimony and Litigation Support Practice.
Mr. Purcell has over 35 years of experience in investment banking.
He has served as an expert on more than 75 occasions and written
more than 50 fairness opinions during his career. Mr. Purcell has
participated in more than 100 merger and acquisition transactions
and has extensive experience in all areas of corporate finance,
including: mergers and acquisitions; public and private equity and
debt financings; and venture capital.
Prior to joining Seale & Associates, Mr. Purcell was Managing Director for, and spent
25 years with, Dillon, Read & Co., Inc. After leaving Dillon Read, he remained active
in both merger and acquisition activities and held various corporate management
positions. Mr. Purcell serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
for Business Talk Radio, Inc.
Mr. Purcell received a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University and
an M.B.A. from New York University.
Mr. Roessel has wide-ranging experience in global corporate strategy, portfolio management and international business development. Mr. Roessel plays a leading role in the firm’s Enterprise Level Strategy Consulting activities by helping clients align their corporate strategic direction with emerging global business trends. Mr. Roessel previously held senior management positions at DuPont, Bristol-Myers Squibb and most recently at Johns Manville, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. Mr. Roessel has extensive experience in developing and executing a wide range of global business development strategies.
Mr. Whitney has significant audit, financial analysis, and project management expertise. His responsibilities include, among other things, financial due diligence; transaction research; strategic and financial analysis; and the development of information memoranda and management presentations.
Mr. Whitney received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Richmond and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Llerena is an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group. Mr. Llerena graduated with honors from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Monterrey, Mexico, where he earned a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Mr. Llerena has traveled extensively and has lived in the U.S. and Europe. He is fluent in Spanish, English and German and has working knowledge of French.
Mr. Vail has previous audit and project management experience including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Prior to joining Seale, Mr. Vail was responsible for the financial management of several government contracts with the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Vail received a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Economics from George Mason University and is currently a candidate in the CFA program.
