Brett Carmel is a managing director with over 10 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate advisory, and strategy consulting.

Mr. Carmel has advised on divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, valuations, due diligence, strategic alternatives assessments, and various corporate finance matters. Prior to joining Seale & Associates, Mr. Carmel worked with Mr. Seale at an investment bank in Washington, D.C. on a wide variety of international merger and divestiture assignments. He was also a financial analyst for the U.S. Surface Transportation Board and a consultant for corporations working with international development banks.

Mr. Carmel has been a featured speaker on M&A and corporate finance related topics at several industry association meetings and higher education conferences, such as Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico.

Mr. Carmel received an M.B.A. in International Business and an M.A. in International Affairs/Economics from George Washington University and a B.A. in Political Science with high honors from the University of Florida.
